With a background in luxury fashion, Carolina Chammas, has worked for renowned brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, and Marc Jacobs at the Aishti Group as well as Caravana and Elie Saab. After completing a Master’s Degree in Fashion Communication from Istituto Marangoni in London and certificate courses at Central Saint Martins London, she immersed herself in ELLE Arab World as a Fashion Editor covering the Middle East. Driven by her vision for a creative fashion statement, a headpiece, she launched AURA Headpieces in 2012, creating handmade botanical hair jewelry that reflects the cultural significance of hair and the symbolism of nature in Arab femininity.
Carolina has experience in creating and scaling niche design brands, with a strong focus on social entrepreneurship, sustainable development and empowering underprivileged communities. Her passion for fashion circularity and sustainability also led her to work with South American indigenous tribes in Mexico and the Amazon and in sustainable real estate communications in the USA. She also recently consulted for The Future Initiative Institute, sister company to the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, whose core mission is Impact on Humanity. She has participated in global forums like Davos, COPs and the UN General Assembly, Climate Week, advancing her commitment to environmental stewardship. Through her work, she celebrates women, nature, and supports Lebanese artisans, making a meaningful impact on women, society and the environment.
